What is the amount and schedule of formula feedings from 2nd to 4th month?

Most formula-fed babies no longer require a middle-of-the-night meal between the ages of two and four months (or when the baby weighs more than 12 lb. [5.4 kg]), as they consume more during the day and their sleeping habits have become more consistent (although this varies from child to child).

Their stomach capacity has also risen, allowing them to go longer between feedings during the day—up to four or five hours at a period. If your baby continues to eat regularly or in huge quantities, try diverting him with toys or a pacifier. Obesity tendencies can start as early as infancy, so be careful not to overfeed your child.
