If your baby is being breastfed exclusively, then feed on demand. There are no maximum counts but a minimum of 6-8 times a day is recommended.
If your baby is being formula-fed, then also feeding on demand is the key. Increase the milk gradually as per the demand of the baby.
For instance, offer your baby 60 ml at first, if your baby finishes 60 ml, make 90 ml for the next feed and see how much the baby takes.
After a few days, when the baby starts finishing 90 ml, make 120 ml for the next feed and observe how much the baby feeds.
Continue this to cater to the demand and needs of the baby.
If your baby vomits, reduce the amount of milk during the next feeding.
