You can give oats to your baby from as early as 6 months of age.
For a 6-9-month-old baby, go for rolled oats as they cook quickly and are softer than steel-cut oats.
Mix fresh fruits with rolled oats and grind to a smooth mixture.
Add some water, fruit puree, or milk and cook for 10 minutes or till thoroughly cooked.
For babies over the age of 10 months, opt for any variety of oats.
Grind them coarsely and cook them with fruits, veggies, and milk.
Let the texture be coarse and lumpy.
