How can screen time affect my toddler’s sleep?

Screen time could overstimulate your toddler which could create a hard time for them to calm down and relax in preparation for sleep. Spending time on screen activates the brain and it becomes difficult to wind up and calm down during sleep time.

Similarly, spending time on screen also reduces the opportunity for physical activity that your little one should get. Your little toddler’s energy levels then remain high by the end of the day. This affects the sleep routine of the toddler. Hence, it’s best that screen time is avoided 2 hours before bedtime.
