Bacille Calmette-Guerin or BCG is a tuberculosis (TB) vaccine that should be given to babies a few days after birth.

In India, BCG is given to prevent childhood TB as it is a prevalent disease in India.
TB is a potentially serious infection that majorly affects the lungs.

Vaccinate your baby with BCG in the first few days of their life to ensure the good health of your baby.
It is a live attenuated vaccination administered at birth in dried frozen powder form.

The dose is typically administered on the left shoulder and is 0.1ml intradermal.
