It’s important to have your child practice healthy mealtime practices early on. Here are some bad meal practices to avoid as your child is growing:

– Making poor meal plans for them.

– Having meals in front of the screen.

– Eating most meals away from home.

– Adding too many spices, sugars, or salts to their food.

– Eating mindlessly or not eating together with them.

– Eating on the run. It’s good practice to sit and eat.

– Giving them giant portion sizes, which increases the risk of choking.

– Not taking care of the number of calories they consume, or giving them too many liquid calories.

– Not eating enough throughout the day.
