A poor diet is likely to have long-term effects on your child’s health.

Bad meal practices like picky eating, junk eating, using screens during meals, etc. are likely to increase the risk of nutritional deficiency and malnutrition.

It can affect the physical growth of your child, leading to problems like being underweight, overweight, not gaining height, etc.

Growing up eating foods high in fat, sugar and salt can increase the risk for high cholesterol, high blood pressure and atherosclerosis as an adult.

Children who eat poorly are more likely to develop certain long-term health problems, including osteoporosis and cardiovascular diseases.
