– After the first month, your baby is likely to drink 4 ounces of milk every 4 hours (on average).

– Their feeding will steadily increase. By six months of age, they will drink 6-8 ounces (180–240 ml) about 4-5 times a day.

– Another way to think about normal consumption is by weight; your infant will drink roughly 2½ ounces (75 ml) per day for every pound of body weight.

– However, because each baby is unique, the doctor will weigh and measure them at each visit to see whether their development is adequate for their age.

These are just estimated quantities and each baby is different and so are their nutritional needs. Feeding your baby on demand is essential at this stage.
